| Bone marrow: The bone marrow shows marked lymphocytosis and histiocytosis with haemophagocytosis (a). The neoplastic medium-sized to large lymphoid cells with slightly irregular nuclei are positive for CD8 (b). The CD68 (Kp1) shows marked histiocytosis with haemophagocytosis (c). The numerous EBV-positive lymphoid cells are detected. Double stains demonstrate that most of the lymphocytes are EBER- and CD3-positive (d). |
