Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most frequent type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, representing 25%-40% of cases. It consists of a diffuse proliferation of large neoplastic B-cell. By definition, the nuclear size equals to or exceeds that of a macrophage, or is more than twice that of a normal lymphocyte

. DLBCLs are aggressive but potentially curable with multiagent chemotherapy in combination with rituximab.

Primary lymphoma of the pancreas is an extranodal lymphoma arising in the pancreas, with the bulk of the disease localized to this site. Contiguous lymph-node involvement and distant spread may be seen, but the primary clinical presentation is in the pancreas
