Malignant histiocytosis


Malignat histiocytosisis is no longer considered a valid diagnostic term. In the past, cases of anaplastic large cell lymphoma were called malignant histiocytosis or reticulum cell sarcoma on purely morphological grounds, but only a small number proved to be of true macrophage or dendritic cell origin
