Definition

Interdigitating dendritic cell (IDC) sarcoma is a very rare neoplastic proliferation of spindle to ovoid cells that show phenotypic features similar to those of interdigitating dendritic cells. The clinical course is variable ranging from benign localized disease to widespread lethal disease. Solitary lymph node involvement is most common, but extranodal presentations, particularly the skin and soft tissue, have been reported
