Tumours of haematopoietic and lymphoid tissues

Definition

A B lineage lymphoma that demonstrates overlapping clinical, morphological and/or immunophenotypic features, between classical Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) especially primary mediastinal (thymic) large B-cell lymphoma (PMBL). While these lymphomas are most commonly associated with mediastinal disease, similar cases have been reported in peripheral lymph node groups as a primary site.
