Extraosseous plasmacytoma
Tumours of haematopoietic and lymphoid tissues


Extraosseous (extramedullary) plasma­cytomas are localized plasma cell neoplasms that arise in tissues other than bone. Lymphomas with prominent plasma­cytic differentiation, particularly extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT) must be excluded.
