Lymphocyte-depleted classical Hodgkin lymphoma
Tumours of haematopoietic and lymphoid tissues

Definition

Lymphocyte-depleted classical Hodgkin lymphoma (LDCHL) is a diffuse subtype of classical Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) rich in Hodgkin and Reed-Stenberg (HRS) cells and/or depleted in non-neoplastic lymphocytes. The definition of LDCHL has undergone several changes in the past few decades with the result that the body of reliable clinical data on this subtype is limited. Since a proportion of these cases have been reclassified into different lymphoma entities, the previously described clinicopathological correlations are not necessarily tenable.
