Definition

Mixed cellularity classical Hodgkin lymphoma (MCCHL) is a subtype of classical Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) with scattered classical Hodgkin-Reed-Sternberg (HRS) cells in a diffuse or vaguely nodular mixed inflammatory background without nodular sclerosing fibrosis. Cases which do not fit into the other subtypes are put in this category.
