Medulloepithelioma, NOS


A rare, malignant embryonal neoplasm typically presenting as a distinct cerebral mass, with predominant manifestation in young children. Histologically, it is characterized by papillary, tubular or trabecular arrangements of neoplastic neuroepithelium with an external limiting membrane that mimick the embryonal neural tube. These tumours often display multiple lines of differentiation, including neural, glial and mesenchymal elements
