Epithelioid trophoblastic tumour is an uncommon gestational neoplasm characterized by a monomorphous population of intermediate trophoblastic cells. Compared to placental site trophoblastic tumour , the neoplastic cells are smaller, less pleomorphic and grow in a nodular rather than a diffusely infiltrative pattern
