Definition

Adenomatoid tumour is a benign neoplasm originating from mesothelial cells and characterized by the formation of glandular and tubular structures.
Uterine adenomatoid tumour arises from the uterine serosa and myometrium and typically presents as a well circumscribed intramural mass. Histologically, the tumour consists of multiple small, interconnected tubules lined by a single layer of cells.
Adenomatoid tumours are benign and do neither recur nor metastasize
