Cervix uteri


Lymphoepithelial carcinoma of the cervix uteri is a histological variant of squamous cell carcinoma . The tumour is composed of poorly defined islands of undifferentiated cells. The stroma is intensely infiltrated by lymphocytes. The tumour cells have vesicular nuclei with prominent nucleoli. Indistinct cell borders give the cell nests a syncitial-like appearance
