Myeloid sarcoma


Myeloid sarcoma is defined as a tumour mass consisting of myeloid blasts that occurs at a site other than the bone marrow (BM), most frequently skin, lymph node, gastrointestinal tract, bone, soft tissue and testis. The median age is 56 years at clinical manifestation and the prognosis is unfavourable
