Gastrinoma is a neuroendocrine tumour (NET) characterized by the production of gastrin. Approximately 15% of gastrinomas cause Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (ZES). They occur earlier in life than their non-functioning counterparts and carry a higher risk of metastasis
