Adenosquamous carcinoma

Histopathology
The histology is characterized by and admixture of tumour areas with glandular and squamous differentiation. The adenocarcinoma component forms ductal or glandular structures with focal to abundant intraand/ or extracellular mucin. Squamous differentiation is characterized by an infiltrating sheet-like arrangement of polygonal cells with distinct cellular borders, prominent intracellular junctions, hard eosinophilic cytoplasm and varying degrees of keratinization
